Hi my name is Lara Karuna. I’m an American living in Italy. I am trying to help out Bilal and his family evacuate Gaza. As we all know it’s very expensive to get out. Give whatever you can. There’s no amount too small. Thank you. Here is his story;

Hello, I am Bilal Shamlakh, a software engineer from Gaza. We were living a safe, beautiful life full of stability until the war came and destroyed all the beautiful things. We now live a life full of fear, death, and destruction. We left our home, displaced, for a short time. We did not even have time to carry our clothes. I feel helpless because I am no longer able to carry them. I work because of the demolition of the company that was all my dreams and my future. The situation becomes more tragic every day, as there is no clean water, no health care, and no food. The occupation has bombed and destroyed my house, which contains all my belongings and my family’s memories. We have lost many of our relatives and friends and still do. The killing continues and it is not fair for me to stand idly by while my family's life is exposed to danger at every moment. I do not know whether we will remain alive today or whether we will be among the worst. I am addressing you asking you to help evacuate to the safe areas outside the country. I ask you to help me by donating some of the money you have. I love you from my heart ❤️❤️
