Please, help Beethoven reach his retirement home

Hi, my name is Lynn and I am fundraising for Pawsome Born to be Free rescue.

Pawsome Born to be Free are a dog rescue helping and rehoming dogs from Romania to the UK. They rescue and save dogs who have been abandoned, dogs off the streets, from public and kill shelters plus dogs who have been subjected to being kept on chains and abuse cases.

Beethoven a wonderful old Bucovina Shepherd Dog has been in the Pawsome shelter for a while now. He is blind in one eye & has had 3 surgeries to his eyes since Poppy rescued him 2 days before his time was up in the ‘KILL’ shelter. He is about 11.5 years old and it’s felt that he probably has around a year and a half left to enjoy a happy retirement . He had a very sad and abused life until meeting ‘Auntie Poppy’. Although he is safe at Poppy’s kennels he is spending far too much time in his kennel, all he wants is somewhere comfortable to sleep and a garden where he can roam about & sleep in the warm sun ☀️.

Beethoven has now found his forever retirement home, but due to his size, he needs special transport to reach his home. He’s a tall chap and the usual transport company, do not have a cage large enough for him. There are only 3 companies capable of transporting dogs Beethoven’s size! He has been through so much in his life and he deserves the best now, it would be just so wonderful if he could travel as soon as possible but the rescue need your help for him to reach his new home.
