Please help beautiful Jasmine live a better life

Hi my name is Tui Pakau, I have known Jasmine Jacobson for 28 years and if anyone has come across Jasmine, she is a very outgoing, friendly, caring, motivated and a loyal women.

This year she had an operation to remove a tumor from her stomach, not knowing if it was sinister until the histology report. It all appeared to go well and tests cleared until Jasmine woke up in recovery and could not feel her leg. 30 days in hospital and Jasmine went home with damaged nerves that paralyzed her right leg and was told she won’t have full capacity in that leg again.

5 months later and Jasmine has been told there is no medical negligence, she can not feel her right leg, she has muscles that have depleted into nothing in the right leg, a swollen knee that needs icing hourly and having to taxi everywhere because she can not drive.

She has been house bound. Thank you to everyone that has helped Jasmine over these past testing months.

These sort of things blind side people and even though Jasmine has had an amazing attitude to this life changing news, there would also be some dark days which no one would see.

I was hoping that we all can come together as a community and get a spa for Jasmine because she told me that hydrotherapy has helped immensely, this was one of the services that she said is a must for the rest of her life but is $180 per session. I thought it would be amazing if she can have a spa at home with the jets going to increase circulation and relieve the pressure, of the dead weight that the thigh puts on the knee.

Jasmine was amazing when I went through stage 3 breast cancer and when I had back surgery she’s always there for her family and friends. She is a really good human so for people that don’t know Jasmine please even if it’s 10 dollars or 5 dollars it all will help.

Until you go through such life changing events, it’s really hard to understand how much it impacts your life and not walking again without a wheel chair or crunches is a huge adjustment.
