Hello, my name is Danny and this fundraiser is for our family cat named Bears! Bears is currently in the animal hospital and has been there since Friday. Prior to his visit to the animal hospital, he had been in and out of a local vet for the majority of the week. Symptoms-wise, he has a fluctuating fever, high white blood cell count, is dehydrated, and has not eaten much since last weekend. The doctors at the animal hospital have run a litany of tests on him since his arrival and they believe that he has FIP – Feline Infectious Peritonitis. While previously an almost-always fatal disease, there is now medication to treat it, which the helpful doctors at the animal hospital are currently doing.

Bears is a very sweet, loving, and playful cat who is about one-and-a-half years old and always up for mischief and treats. Myself, my mom, and Bears’ sister, Lions, are all hoping for him to make a recovery so he can come home and get back to being his normal self.
