Batoul is our Account Specialist, Bookkeeper and has been with us for a few years now. You certainly bumped into her at the Ottawa office or exchanged a phone call or emails. She is a sweet person and a very dedicated worker, always ready to help, always making herself available.

She has been going through some challenging events lately and to top it all, there was a fire at her home Saturday May 24, 2025. Her and her kids have been unable to go back home since and there are no indications as to when they will be able to do so. In the meantime, her and her 3 sons have been staying for a night or two with friends but they need a more stable temporary place which can be tricky to find, specially when there is schooling involved.

Imagine just one day where you have to spend time finding a roof and visit several places, get food for 4 and if you are lucky cook it, maintain some sort of continuity and security for young children, deal with the insurance and the paperwork, shop for necessities, bring kids to and from school and work. They have been going through this for days now and most possibly for weeks to come.

We are reaching out to you for a donation that will go to Batoul directly to help dealing with those struggles and possibly, shall I dare say, bring a bit of comfort to the family. There are no "too small" amounts, every penny counts and will be appreciated. This GoFundMe will remain open until they can reintegrate their home.
