Help Azita Survive the LA Wildfire

My name is Jane Baginski and I am a friend and colleague of Azita Milanian, the owner of Toscafashion. Azita is a fixture in the ballroom community and she suffered a terrible blow today. The LA wildfire in Altadena burned her entire house and business to the ground early this morning. She evacuated late last night when she spotted the fire on a hill behind her house 2 miles away. Azita did not believe that anything terrible could really happen to her home, but it was completely destroyed as well as her entire dancewear business. She is devastated and will begin the long process of trying to find some stability in her life again.

Who can forget the first time they met Azita selling Toscafashion like nobody's business at a comp? Everyone knows Azita and there is no one like her--the tiny Persian with a raspy voice and infectious laugh who lifted suitcases larger than herself jam-packed with smooth gowns. She's been hauling inventory across the country for 26 years. No one can tell a story like her and no one has a story like hers. Sadly, her story now has a very sad chapter.

We need to come together and show her some support. If all of us contribute a little, it will be enough to make a big difference. Azita is safe with her beloved dog Shadow in temporary housing. She and her dog are lucky to be alive.
