Hello everyone, 

I am Arman Madoyan, a 17-year-old from Armenia with a dream of making the world a better place as a bioengineer. Today, that dream is closer than ever, as I am honored to have received an admission offer from UC Davis in California for majoring in biotechnology but am $49,000 short - hence this fundraiser seeking your support.

My interest in biology took a flight when I was a child. The aspiration of transforming the world came with my reading on bioengineering and biotechnology over the past few years. Most recently I volunteered for a lab developing COVID-19 tests, getting a first-hand exposure to the power of bioengineering.

Today, more than ever, speeding up creation and improvement of medical vaccines and drugs is evident. I am keen to become part of the solution when given a chance to pursue my passion in biotechnology, benefiting my beloved country Armenia and the rest of the world.
