Please help Anthony "ROME" Montgomery

Rome, a young man of color, was a member of my parenting classes through the Family Resource Center. On the last night of class, he was headed towards class (he doesn't have a car, so was riding one of scooters placed around town) when two people in a pick-up drove by and threw a beer bottle at him causing him to wreck. They yelled a racial slur at him as he lay there in the road and drove off. Rome has a shattered knee, tibia and fibula. He has 2 external metal braces in the top side of his leg from thigh to ankle. He will have another surgery this week and will be unable to walk for at least 12 weeks. His great new job had to let him go because he hadn't been there long enough to be eligible for FLMA. This young man needs your help. Thanks in advance!!
