I’m Tim Goldich. A year ago, Angie Mejia was granted asylum here in the U.S., and she has struggled so. She has two daughters, both conceived by force--once in her homeland of Honduras and again while awaiting entrance through the U.S. border. Angie has had epilepsy since her late teens. Sometimes she falls and hits her head. For this reason, she is partially deaf. I’m desperate for Angie to have a complete medical workup, including an MRI, that may finally reveal the exact cause of her seizures. I pray that it will also reveal a more effective treatment.
