My name is Meghan Schobert and I have the joy of working with Anna Boonstra who watched her husband, father to their daughter and her best friend have a catastrophic stroke on Christmas Day. Anna hasn't left Andy's side since that devastating day when he suffered from a Pontine Infarction which is a stroke that occurs in the region of the brainstem. Andy spent many days in the ICU, in the hospital, in a neuro rehabilitation facility and now he will be going to a sub-acute rehab at Monroe Community Hospital. His strength and courage has been powerful to see but he has a long road ahead of him.

While Anna has never even thought about the financial piece of things, we as family, friends and co-workers want to do more to help her. Andy and Anna have been married for 41 years and their unwavering love and strength has powered them through. Today, let's all come together and help them in a time of need...any dollar can help them through neither of them working and the medical bills that will be coming their way.
