On Halloween night, after taking his wife Scarlett and their kids out trick-or-treating, Andrew Sanders was struck in a serious hit-and-run accident in Westlock. He was flown by Stars Air Ambulance to the University of Alberta Hospital, where he remains in the trauma unit recovering from significant internal and head injuries.

Andrew’s recovery will take time — doctors estimate three to four months before he’ll be able to return to work. His job is very physical, and this unexpected accident has left him unable to earn an income while he focuses on healing. They’ve also lost their only vehicle, which literally leaves this family stranded.

This fundraiser has been created to help ease the financial burden on Andrew, Scarlett, and their family during this difficult time. Donations will go toward everyday living expenses, medical costs, and other needs while Andrew recovers.
