We would like to share with you, with heavy hearts, that Carlo has gone home to be with the Lord.

Carlo passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. His life reflected deep faith, devotion to his wife and children, and a generous spirit that touched so many.

We are deeply grateful for every prayer, donation, and message shared for Leigh and the children throughout these past weeks. Your kindness has carried them through a painful time and continues to give them strength.

Leigh and the children are now walking through a very hard season, and they will need ongoing support. If you feel led to give, your help will bless them in a real and practical way. Thank you for praying, giving, and surrounding them with love.

Thank you for standing with this family.

On behalf of the Sioco family, we are heartbroken to share that Carl suffered a severe stroke. He was first admitted to the ICU at Chinook Regional Hospital and was airlifted to Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary for urgent, specialized surgery. His condition has since worsened, and he is now in a deep coma. The coming days remain extremely critical for his recovery.

We are asking for your prayers during this time, for Carl’s healing, for the strength and wisdom of his medical team, and for comfort and protection over Leigh and the children.

Many of you know Lheigh. She is quiet, kind, dependable, and never someone who asks for help. She and Carl have two young children, and like many immigrant families, they do not have relatives in Canada who can step in during moments like this. Right now, Leigh is doing everything she can to stay strong for her husband and their kids while facing an overwhelming and heartbreaking situation.

As she focuses on Carl and cares for the children, the family’s daily needs continue to grow. Travel between Lethbridge and Calgary, food, gas, accommodations close to the hospital, and regular household bills are adding up quickly. With Carl unable to work and Leigh carrying everything on her own, the financial strain is becoming very difficult to manage.

We are hoping to come together as a community to support Leigh and the kids during this painful and uncertain time. All funds raised will go toward:

• Travel, food, gas, and basic needs while Carl is in Calgary
• Childcare and support for the kids
• Accommodations near the hospital
• Household bills and necessities
• Any urgent needs that arise during Carl’s treatment and recovery

Any amount, big or small, will make a meaningful difference for this family. Along with any support, your prayers and kind thoughts for Carl’s healing and for strength for Leigh and the children are deeply appreciated.

Thank you for keeping the Sioco family in your hearts during this difficult time.

Update as of December 3, 2025:
Carlo is still in the ICU and remains in a deep coma with no response. Last night, Lheigh and the children were able to see him. It was a very emotional moment for the kids, and for all of us who care about this family. We continue to pray and ask God for healing, for strength, and for the chance for Carlo to wake up and come back to his family.

Thank you to everyone who has been praying, sharing, and giving. Your kindness is helping hold this family together during a time they never expected to face.
