We recently had our world turned upside down when my sister, Amy Scollon, found out that she has leukemia for the second time. Since hearing these most dreadful words, she has had to meet with her medical team, wait for a treatment plan, and is now waiting for insurance to start assisting with the treatment. Amy has had to take a medical leave from her job working as an RN with hospice patients. She is already accruing substantial medical bills and the treatment has not yet begun. Even with the insurance, Amy will be responsible for thousands of dollars to cover her medical expenses. She is also going to be without her salary so will need money to live while undergoing her cancer treatments.

Amy is the heart of our family. She may be my little sister but she has been my protector, guide and best friend throughout life.

We are asking for prayers and positivity to send Amy's way first and foremost but also hoping that we can all pull together to help Amy during this extremely difficult time. Amy is always there for all of us and now she needs us to help her through! She needs to focus on beating cancer again and not worry about all of the medical bills.
