Hi everyone,

 

As you are likely aware, after a ton of various doctor appointments and all the testing, Amanda has been diagnosed with breast cancer. At this point in her journey, there are still a lot of unknowns. What we do know is that she will need a single side mastectomy, which is currently scheduled for June 9th. For the sake of her privacy at this point I don't want to get into detail about her future options, but everything will vary based on the pathology report.

 

What we also DO know is that the American healthcare system is complete crap, and this kind of stuff is extremely expensive, especially when additional treatments are needed.

 

Amanda is one of my best friends that I've known since our teen years, and if you are on this page you also likely know that she is genuinely one of the most selfless, caring people in existence and would never directly ask anyone for money. In fact, she has used her social platforms instead to plead with everyone to PLEASE get yourself checked, and to not let your doctors downplay your symptoms.

 

I have created this page for anyone that can donate anything at all, even your spare change. But if you are not able to donate, please take the time to examine yourself, or maybe check in on someone close to you.
