Please Help Amanda and Scott in Their Time of Need

My daughter, Amanda Keirn, is the most loving, giving, kind person I know. She is facing significant financial difficulties currently as she is about to bring her first baby into this world in just a few days. Last year, she decided to take the leap and open her own family medical practice. She saw the underserved population of Pahrump, NV particularly in pediatrics, and immediately knew she would be able to make a difference.

She and her husband opened the doors to the clinic right as she found out she was pregnant with their first child. It was definitely exciting times!! What was not expected was the multitude of pregnancy complications she would have. She has had to see multiple specialists each week just to try to help make it through the pregnancy safely. She is almost at the finish line! Through the past 6 months, she has had to reduce the hours at the clinic to take care of herself. This meant that there was a much smaller revenue coming through the clinic. Unfortunately, she has not been able to take even .01 of income over the last few months.

Her husband works at a local hospital part-time to be able to provide additional medical benefits for Amanda and the baby. This has been very tough on them. They have sought the help of their church community and family members to help out too. Amanda is someone that will give you every last penny and then some if you needed it, it is just the type of person she is. I would really like to try to help relieve some of their stress if only for a short period of time, so she can take 6 weeks away from the clinic to recover and bond with her new baby. For this reason, I am trying to help raise funds for them in any way I can. So, we are very humbly asking if you would please consider helping them with even a small amount. I know they will be eternally grateful for any assistance and prayers.
