My sweet friend Amanda Crawford (Massie) is a home care nurse and was viciously attacked by a pitbull during a visit in a patient's home. She has multiple lacerations to her body and had to have surgery with hardware placement in her right arm. This has been very taxing on her, not only physically as she has been dealing with a great deal of pain, but also emotionally because not only is she dealing with post-traumatic stress but also worrying about covering bills and caring for her not quite 2-year-old daughter.
