My name is Eleanor. I am in the UK and setting up this page on behalf of my friend Amal in Gaza.

*My name is Amal Emad.* I am a 35-year-old mother living in Gaza, Palestine. I have three children: Layan, Ibrahim, and Mohammed. They used to attend school, but because of the war, they have been deprived of education.

For over 600 days, we have endured a war of annihilation, starvation, displacement, and forced migration.

I will be honest with you now—at the beginning of the war, I lost my car, and my home was partially damaged. Everything we had worked for was gone: our children's education, their chance at a joyful life. Since then, we have lived in constant fear, without security, stability, or even basic necessities.

We have been displaced multiple times, fleeing bombardment. My children know nothing but fear and hunger. Every day is a struggle for food, clean water, and safety.

Our dream was simple: to raise our children in peace, to build a future, and to live with dignity. But this war has taken everything from us—except our hope.
