I am writing this appeal in aid of my younger sister, who tragically just 5 days before Christmas watched her flat go up in flames. On Saturday 20th December, my sister’s bedroom caught alight and everything in there was destroyed, and the full flat left damaged. Alyshia (22 years old), lives alone with her dog in the South Shields area of South Tyneside. and has now been left with no home, and is being held up in hotels and BnBs just days before Christmas until she can bid on a new property to live at. All of Alys main belongings were lost in the fire, any donations of or towards new clothes, shoes, anything that can help this young girl at a time of need will be greatly appreciated.
