Please Help Alexander Walk Again for His Little Girl

This is one of the hardest messages I have ever had to write.

I am raising funds for Alexander Pilyugin, a 34-year-old Ukrainian soldier who lost his leg, his arm, and his eye after stepping on a landmine while defending his country — and protecting families like mine, and my own hometown.

Alexander is the nephew of my childhood friend. I grew up with her, and now her family is living through a pain no one should ever endure. Despite unimaginable suffering, Alexander is still fighting — not on the battlefield, but for his chance at life, dignity, and a future with his daughter.

He has a beautiful 5-year-old little girl who dreams of holding her father’s hand and walking beside him. Our greatest hope is that she will one day see her daddy standing tall again on two legs.

All donations will go directly toward prosthetics for his leg, arm, and eye. These are not just medical needs — they are the tools that will give Alexander his life back.
