My name is Diane and I am trying to help a coworker who really needs the help. Please read Alex’s Unfortunate Christmas Story and help if you can. And please pray for them.

Alex moved back to Tennessee from Ohio 6 months ago with his pregnant fiancé, Emily, and his 4 year old daughter, Luna. They put down first and last months’ rent/deposit for a place to stay. The landlord gave them an extremely short eviction notice so they had to move again just a couple weeks later. They had to pay first and last again. They have been struggling financially this whole time. So much so that he couldn’t afford the extra money it costs for health insurance.

Thankfully, Emily has other health coverage because she was hospitalized a few weeks ago. She was bleeding heavily and was losing amniotic fluid constantly. Alex couldn’t afford to miss work and they have a four year old that cannot stay at the hospital with her. Then Emily went in to labor last week and they could not stop it. Their baby boy, Rudy, was born on Friday, December 17th. Rudy is 3 months premature. He will be hospitalized and very closely monitored until he becomes a very strong little man that can survive outside of the NICU. They all have a very long road ahead of them. Welcome to the world Rudy!

They were already struggling financially and now, after missing work and having a baby born before they were ready and way before the baby was ready, it is much worse. They also had to put their cat down on Sunday, the 19th. All of this and Christmas is only 5 days away. Please pray and send all the positive vibes their way you can! If you are able to donate anything to help them out, it will be greatly appreciated. A toy for a 4 year old girl’s Christmas gift or $5.00 that they can put towards rent, electricity, food, etc… Anything will help.

ALL funds from this will go directly to Alex to use for bills, food, gas for hospital trips and a little will go towards a Christmas present for Luna. Life can be hard... Some times are harder than others and sometimes we need a little help.... even if we don't want to ask for it. Please help if you can and pray for his family. They will be so grateful for both.
