My cousin, Alex, who is the closest thing to a brother, was in a terrible car accident that has now changed his life forever. Even with emergency surgery, this accident has caused irreparable damage to his spine on the C6, T2, and T3 vertebrae. He will be beginning his transition into his new adjusted life.

He has always worked with his hands and worked in heavy labor-intense jobs. The harsh reality is that he will no longer be able to do such jobs as the lower half of his body is what has been most heavily affected by the accident. His lower half is 100% unresponsive and his upper body is currently extremely weak.

Alex is the primary provider in his household, a hard worker, an amazing brother, and continuously looking after his disabled mother. One of the most generous people I know, and a dependable individual in our family.
