Alaia Bukharbayeva has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia B-II with 85% of cancer cells. She is now required to undergo 6-9 blocks of chemotherapy. Each block takes around 2 months of chemo costs $12,000 USD (18300 AUD) per month in Acibadem Altunizade Hospital, excluding costs for imported medicines $4,200 USD (18300AUD) per block, additional research and analysis.
