To start with, due to a current domestic violence order, this person cannot be named due to fears of what could occur from this traumatic health event. As a result, comments have been disabled. On the 17th of February, 2025. Our dear family member received horrible news that they had a 4x3.4cm tumour on their brain (Visible in the picture of this go fund me). This testing was the result of multiple health complications presented over the last couple of years. And most recently the recipient suffered seizures as a result of this tumour present on their brain.

On the 24th of February, 2025. The recipient has undertaken surgery to remove at least part of the tumour and hopefully gain an understanding of the cause and recovery going forward. Results of the testing of the tumour are expected next week.

We have already been advised by the surgeons that for a minimum of 3 months the recipient will be unable to drive, work and perform many other daily responsibilities and will be required to attend regular appointments in Brisbane.

This is a real struggle to share with everyone, and I’m sure the recipient would not expect anything from anyone through this situation. However, given the circumstances and the challenges ahead the recipient’s family have decided to put a fundraiser together to assist with making the recovery process as easy as possible.

Funds raised will assist with the following:

- Weekly rent

- Car repayments

- Education expenses

- Food

- Medication
