Please Help Admir's Battle with Brain Cancer
Donation protected
In 2010 Admir Catic was diagnosed with Oligodendroglioma, a type of brain cancer. Admir is a husband and father to two young daughters and this diagnosis has significantly impacted his quality of life, and the quality of his family's life for the past 12 years. Since his diagnosis, he has had 7 brain surgeries along with chemo and radiation treatments. As of now, Admir's most recent MRI revealed that the tumor has progressed to an area of the brain where surgery, chemo or radiation are no longer possible, his current care team has ruled these out as options. His only option right now is immunotherapy, which could make him incredibly ill, with only a 5-20% chance that it would work. Not wanting to give up hope, the family has reached out to the Mayo Clinic for a second opinion, they have an appointment in January. If there is a different prognosis, the treatments and stay there will be very costly and a burden that the family simply cannot take on. As we can imagine fighting this fight for this long has been a financial hit for the family. The Catic family would be incredibly grateful for any support towards this continuous fight.
