Hi, My name is Mark, I am a single parent to 2 kids in Ontario (we all are diagnosed ADHD, one is also on Asperger’s spectrum). I have worked for 30 years to provide for my family, but after the last five years where I survived a divorce, a layoff, a major car accident and cutting off my thumb in a table saw accident I took a job at a terrible company, who laid me off after a few months with little warning (and no money).

After 12 months applying to over 1000 jobs in both my field, and even supermarkets, forklifts, security guards and recruitment, I am due to be homeless on the 6th March when I am evicted.

I am looking to raise enough to pay deposit /rent on a single bed apartment (kids will stay at mom’s even though there are problems logistically), put some furniture into storage, and pay for vans etc.

I have a prospect of work at a previous job, but it won’t happen in time to change this, and may fall through if I am homeless.
