Please help Abby Haddock
Don protégé
If you know Abby, you know how selfless and giving she is. Today she needs our help.
Abby recently discovered her dishwasher had a slow, dripping leak which caused extensive water damage to her kitchen. The leak and damage was not visible and once discovered the damage was found to be covered in unhealthy black mold. Abby has had to leave her home as it's not a healthy place right now. After ripping up the kitchen floor, old 1970's era linoleum was found under the laminate flooring. The old linoleum had to be sent to a certified lab for asbestos testing prior to removal. The test results are back and the linoleum does contain asbestos and will require removal by a costly certified licensed asbestos removal specialist. The amount of the water damage cannot be fully assessed until all of the flooring is removed. At a minimum, the kitchen will need repair to the walls, new flooring, new cabinets, paint, new splash guard, and Lord knows what else will be added to the list.
A homeowner's insurance claim was made which was denied due to specific language about "continuous seepage". And the decision was upheld on appeal. Current repair estimates are $8k - $10k, which is money she doesn't have right now. You all know that Abby is extremely frugal and resourceful and is shopping for bargains. She's spent $3.5k for the plumber and water mitigation company, but still needs the asbestos removal and a contractor and materials to complete the restoration work. She's exhausted her savings and sold assets to raise funds. Social Security is her sole income. Applying for a bank loan, she was denied funds based on inadequate income. So we are here to ask you and the Universe for assistance in manifesting $6k to help Abby put her house back in order. She needs help now. Let's be the cavalry riding to Abby's rescue and please help us help her. Every gift, large or small, will make a big difference. Thank you for your support!!! And remember, when you help someone in any way, it comes back 1,000 fold.
