Right now, our dear friend Ada is facing one of the most difficult chapters of her life. Breast Cancer & divorce.

After the breakdown of her marriage, Ada has been left without financial access or support. While navigating the legal process to protect herself and her children, she has already had to use the last of her savings just to secure legal representation and begin the custody process.

As overwhelming as that situation already is, Ada recently received devastating news: she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Needing a double mastectomy.

She is now facing the emotional and physical challenges of cancer treatment while also fighting to keep stability and security for her children.

Right now Ada has:

No vehicle

No financial support

Limited income and is relying on food assistance to help feed her boys

Friends and family have stepped in wherever possible, but the financial needs continue to grow.

Ada has already spent her savings on legal fees, but she still needs help to cover the remaining costs necessary to protect her children and move forward.

Donations from this fundraiser will help Ada:

• Maintain legal representation during the custody process

• Keep stable housing for her and her boys

• Help with transportation, medical appointments, and daily necessities

• Allow Ada to focus on her cancer treatment and recovery

The boys have been approved to see a court-approved therapist to help them process the emotional stress they’ve experienced, but the cost is currently out of reach without support.

Anyone who knows Ada knows she is one of the most compassionate and selfless people you could ever meet. She has always been the first person to help someone in need, often giving whatever she had to support others.

Left over funds from breast cancer treatment will be used for the $150 fee that covers one therapy session for the boys with court appointed therapist.
