Please help a Mom Afford a New Place to Live

Hi, my name is Phyllis, and I am trying to raise funds for my best friend, Bella Condini, and her autistic daughter, Gina. Bella and Gina, along with their beloved pets, are currently homeless. Her husband lost their savings as a result of his dementia. After he was diagnosed with dementia, traumatic brain injury, and a cyst in his brain, he was admitted to a nursing home and promptly escaped. He has been missing since November 30th and is feared to be deceased. Meanwhile, Bella and Gina are homeless and have no money for a place to live.

Bella has applied for various social services and government assistance but has received no help. Even Catholic Charities is overloaded with cases and cannot provide the help that they need, and unfortunately, I have no room in my house for them, or I would have moved them in with me. I know this is Christmastime and money is tight for everyone, but I am asking for $5,000 to help them temporarily move into a safe, clean hotel for a month so they have a roof over their heads until they can find an apartment for a security deposit and first months rent on an apartment in a decent location, to help with repairs to their car, and to possibly buy her daughter a Christmas present or two.
