Please Help a Grieving Mother and Son

Hey guys.

My name is Kelli. I'm a manager at Ruby Tuesday in Thomasville, NC. One of my most loyal employees has suffered such an unimaginable loss and needs our help.

On Wednesday, February 2, 2022, Jessica Lee left her children at her mother's house as she had to get to her overnight shift at Walmart. Early the following morning, on Thursday, February 3, she received a phone call saying she needed to get home immediately.

When arriving on the scene, the house was completely engulfed in flames. Her mother and oldest son Jeremiah had made it out of the home, however devastatingly, her younger son, Ja'mir, didn't survive.

Our restaurant is more than a business. We're a family, and we've come together to make this page to help raise money for our sweet Jessica and her surviving little boy. While the house was her mother's, Jess had just moved into a new home and hadn't moved much of their belongings yet from her mother's house. She's lost close to everything, and much will need to be replaced.

We're also highly concerned about how she'll be taking care of her day-to-day expenses, as we do not expect her to come back to work any time soon. We want to raise money for her to do whatever she needs to grieve the loss of her beautiful baby boy while raising his big brother.
