Please help our friend Lena managing cancer bills

Hi, my name is Mark and I'm fundraising for our good family friend Lena.

We have been friends with Lena for over 20 years. She has been married to a great man, Nick for 9 years, and he has been battling cancer for 8.5 years. Sadly Nick is now in the end stages of cancer that has spread widely throughout his body. Nick put up a fight and has remained in great spirits. But now the long chemo sessions and hospital visits have taken their toll on them and their finances. While they have had medical coverage throughout, the uncovered expenses, and Nick's inability to keep up with running his auto service business - they need help.

Medical expenses have added up fast, and Lena needs to raise $30,000 to keep herself afloat. She has been balancing being there for Nick in the hospital, trying to manage what's left of his business, paying home and medical expenses, and working at the same time. She is spread very thin at this terrible time and would appreciate any help. They are active in their church, who have been a great help throughout this ordeal, but need all the help they can get.

Update: Nick passed away last night. Our prayers and support are with Lena and family.
