On November 5, 2018, my dear friend John Lau, was in a terrible accident. It was an unfortunate case where a car had broken down in the middle of the freeway and they had not put the emergency lights on so that is when John had crashed behind the stopped car as well as another car smashed in behind him. He was rushed to the hospital (St. Francis) and was immediately admitted into the ICU, until now he is still there. The doctors had mentioned that he may be paralyzed of the whole body and had done 2 surgeries so far. As a friend, I would like to start the campaign to help his family through this troubling time. John is currently raising 2 sons as a single parent, one just entered college and one that is in his senior year of high school. Because of such a sudden accident, there is no income and this would help the family get by with the bills. John is one of the most caring and loving people that I have met, however, this accident has taken a lot from us, especially for John himself. His friends and family are surrounding him with love and support to lift his spirits up and also to remind him to not give up.
