Hello, I'm requesting assistance for my sister and brother-in-law, who are suffering, a tragic incident that no parent wants to go through on the night of July 30. My nephew was hanging out with two friends when an unknown individual for unknown reasons opened fire on them. Unfortunately one of his friends did not survive while the other friend and my nephew were hospitalized immediately following the incident. My nephew had to undergo immediate and serious brain surgery after being shot in the head but I'm thankful to say he did make it through the surgery and has been recovering slowly. Obviously, this has rocked my sister's family not only emotionally, but also financially, as with any good parents, they've had to take time from work in order to be there for their son, who requires an enormous amount of attention more than the hospital staff can unfortunately provide for this reason I would like to ask for donations to assist them with maintaining their current financial obligations and financial responsibilities they will be left with when he finally is released from the hospital. It's important to note that my nephew is only 17 and still in high school with a promising future ahead of him but because of this incident everything has been derailed and will now have a long painful period of recovery ahead. Any donations will go to my sister’s family to help support them during this time of upheaval I ask for your help and prayers.
