Carmela was diagnosed with colon cancer a couple years ago - you can read about her story HERE: She is now facing tumors in her breasts and will have a double mastectomy soon. Meanwhile, her husband, Joe, had major spinal surgery in late November. He is recovering, but doctors are recommending that he have an additional surgery this spring. Joe works construction and is off while he recovers not knowing when exactly his body will allow him to get back to work.

This money will go a long way to help the Rodriguez family pay off debt, take care of their six children, and take care of their bills while their income suffers.
