Please help a Mom with cancer who has helped so many...

Hi there my name is Randy and I am looking to help some friends who have devoted their lives to living for the Lord by helping others. Steve and Shauna have been there for others even when they never had the time, money, or energy. They would never say " I am too busy"

In fact the first time I met Steve and Shauna at their home they had no furniture in their living room.

They had given it to another family in need who needed it more than them.

I am hopeful that by reading Shauna's story, this community of friends, and especially for those of you who are believers, can help this wife and mother of 5 get treatment for her Cancer at Envita in Arizona, a center with cutting edge treatment that has helped many others survive.

Here is their story in Shauna's own words:

In early February, 2023, I went for a breast ultrasound. The doctors advised me that they were concerned by what they saw and a biopsy followed with the result of stage 0 breast cancer. A mastectomy was done in early June, 2023, which also showed that there was approximately 1 cm of stage 1 breast cancer. Because the concerning cells were on the margins, radiation was recommended. Sixteen treatments of radiation were given between November-December, 2023, throughout which my husband was an immense support in taking care of my health, making it a priority to be at every appointment. 2023 was a difficult year, but I am thankful that I could rely on God, as well as the support of family and friends.

I believed the worst was behind me, when in April, 2024, I began to have symptoms of nausea. As these symptoms began to worsen in severity and became near constant, I made an appointment with my family doctor. In May, 2024, a CT scan was rushed, and when my oncologist reviewed the results, he was gravely concerned. At the end of May, 2024, a biopsy was done on my liver, and it was found that the breast cancer had spread to my liver, which now brought me to a shocking stage 4 diagnosis. Upon hearing the news, I was overwhelmed by the grim outlook that my oncologist gave me.

I praise God for the prayers of friends and family as I am looking to God as my Healer. Please join me in praying that God will completely restore my body and eradicate this aggressive cancer from my blood stream and liver. I want to be a living testimony that Jesus is alive and does heal. In addition to contending in prayer for healing, I’ve been blessed with a referral to a medical treatment centre called Envita by someone who’s been an amazing friend of ours for thirty years. Located in Scottsdale, AZ, Envita is an advanced integrative outpatient medical centre, which offers individualized treatment plans, allowing for a level of care that goes beyond standard protocols in Canada. My medical records have been forwarded to the doctors at Envita and they have given me hope of extending my life. I will be flying out on Thursday, June 20 with my first appointment on June 21. I am continuing to stand on Psalm 118:17, “I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the LORD has done.”

Our family will be covering expenses beyond medical treatment, however we will need assistance with the high costs of my treatment plan. Would you prayerfully consider contributing towards these costs? The breakdown of my medical expenses are as follows:

$550 USD for my initial consultation

$14,000-16,000 USD for my initial testing

12-14 weeks of treatments Monday-Friday for $10,000 USD a week, which will equal $120,000-$140,000 USD

Total costs: $134,550-$156,550 USD, which is $185,000-$215,000 CAD
