Please help our dear friend Chloe with her current devastating situation. Chloe suffers from severe PTSD following a variety of traumatic life events including previous postpartum psychosis. Unfortunately, Chloe recently had a crisis. This crisis led her to be in a catatonic state and her life could have ended. Due the the complexity of her condition- she was stuck between a rock and a hard place and NHS hospitals/NHS mental health trusts would NOT admit her for the urgent care she desperately needed. Chloe, her family and friends were terrified that she would die. The only option Chloe had at the time was to be admitted to a fantastic private mental health facility. This unfortunately costs £10,000 per week and she has currently been there for FOUR weeks. This was the ONLY option to make Chloe safe. Not many people have the privilege to afford such excellent care and unfortunately Chloe and her family do not.

Chloe is the most kind, caring, considerate, peaceful person. Her family including her little boy are the most important in her life. Please give what you can in hope that we can help Chloe and her family pay for the care that she so desperately needed and still needs. The authors of this post both work for the NHS and whilst we love it and it provides fantastic care, there is a grey area that misses patients like Chloe. Chloe has received a diagnosis of Functional neurological disorder (FND) which is STILL misunderstood by physical and mental health services. The nervous system does not work as it should due to severe trauma. If Chloe had a different diagnosis she would be cared for by the NHS. Please help her and her family pay these ridiculous medical bills so that she does not have severe financial difficulties and can live the wonderful life she deserves with her family and little boy!
