Greetings folks... I hope this finds everyone well. I am starting this GoFundMe for the son of a friend of 37 years, Michelle. Her 18 YO son Just graduated high school. Couple weeks ago he had difficulties seeing, hearing speaking, even standing. Completely out of nowhere. Obviously they went to the ER as fast as they could. The news they received Was the worst news imaginable. Michelle is a Steelers fan, I take partial credit for that, and she raised him right as he is a Steelers fan as well. If every Steelers fan out there gives just $1-2, with how big Steelers Nation, nay, Steelers Planet donates, the amount of support we could give them would be tremendous.
This is where I'll post Michelle's message to me about his condition and prognosis.
Please Help Support 18 YO Steelers Fan In The Fight Of His Life Against Brain Cancer!
Our family recently received devastating news: my 18-year-old son, has been diagnosed with Pediatric Diffuse High-Grade Glioma Grade 4 brain cancer.
My son is a kind, intelligent, and sweet young man with a bright future ahead. He just graduated high school this past May and was looking forward to starting this next chapter of his life. Instead, he is now facing the hardest battle imaginable.
He will be undergoing intensive treatments, including radiation and infusions, which will mean frequent hospital visits and long weeks of recovery. While we are hopeful and determined to fight alongside him, the financial burden of medical bills, travel, and time away from work is overwhelming.
We are asking for your support — whether through donations, prayers, or simply sharing this page — to help relieve some of the financial stress so our family can focus on what truly matters: being there for him, and giving him every chance to fight this disease.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for any help you can give. Your kindness, love, and generosity mean the world to us.
With Gratitude,
Michelle & Family
