Please help Viv's family!
On Saturday, the beloved mother of two and grandmother of six lost her life to the terrible fires of Wytaliba. Vivianne Chaplain, a resident of Wytaliba for over thirty years, was tragically caught in the fire that devasted the close community this weekend. Viv was found unconscious and was flown to a Sydney hospital with burns to 40 - 50 % of her body, but she could not be saved, and her family is absolutely devastated.
Her beautiful and close family has literally lost everything in this fire. Not only have they lost a precious loved one but their property, machinery, pets, and livestock have either been destroyed or highly affected by the devastation- and unfortunately, their livelihood depended on much of this equipment.
As a result, Viv's family, who are grieving a tragic loss, must also contend with the huge financial stress of rebuilding and starting again. Hence, we are raising funds in the hope of really supporting her family and the journey that lay ahead, including the rollercoaster of the next coming weeks. For example, the family needs to arrange to bring Vivianne home to Wytaliba and we are sure that they would appreciate some financial support with these costs alone.
This is a real story of a family in need of so much love and support. We thank you so much for taking the time to visit this page.
