Our brother, Adam Janusz, was in a car accident on Wednesday May 28th, 2025. He is currently in ICU at Wake Med. He has 8 broken ribs, a fractured sternum, two broken bones in his lower right leg, a laceration on his liver and fractured the c3 in his spine.

While on his way to a doctor's appointment in Raleigh (around 2:00 pm), he over corrected his driving which caused him to run off the highway and hit head on, into a tree, at 70 mph.

His current van is the only vehicle they had. It is now a total loss and he only had liability insurance. He is a sole providing dad for 3 small children (13, 11, and 5 years old). We are asking for help for him to purchase a van for him and his family. He needs transportation to be able to get to church (which they attend twice a week), doctor's appointments, and to get groceries and other necessities.

He recently had a stroke so he was already having a tough time. Now with this accident, he has a long road ahead of him; medically and financially.

UPDATE: May 30

Adam had surgery last night on his leg. They put a rod in his leg and said the surgery went well. He is in extreme pain, as anyone could imagine but he is stable.
