Help Barbara’s daughters visit during her illness

My name is John and I am fundraising to help my friends help their mother through her difficult  illness.

 

Barbara was diagnosed in August of 2021 with a rare form of brain cancer and was given 14-18 months to live. After a brain surgery in mid August, she began her physical, speech and occupational therapies to retrain her brain. This process of learning to do everyday things like walking, speaking and dressing was interrupted in September when a blood clot was found in her leg. After a surgery was performed to stop this clot from entering her heart, she continued with her training and in October began her radiation and chemotherapy treatments. Throughout this process, her recovery improved dramatically when her 3 daughters were able to visit her taking turns.As my friends took turns traveling from New Hampshire to Florida, she dramatically changed and her overall mood and strength improved tremendously.

 

My intent of this fundraiser is to help this to continue and assist with the financial needs to achieve it.

 

Jodi, Heather and Shannon are in the incredibly difficult financial position of having to choose between maintaining their families here in New Hampshire and spending the needed time with their sick mother in Florida. However, the financial requirements are increasing and it is difficult to continue the visits.

 

I hope that this fundraiser is successful so that they can all visit Barbara at the same time and hopefully help give her the strength to fight this.
