We are hoping to raise 10,000 to help Garry and Terre cover family bills.

On Saturday, May 28th. Garry Hughes was taking his wife, daughter, and granddaughter on a golf cart ride around downtown Hiawassee Georgia. Garry and his wife Terre had just spent two days previously moving into a new rental home. His daughter and granddaughter had come into town to help unpack. During the golf cart ride, Garry suffered a massive heart attack. He was life-lifted to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia. He was immediately prepped for open-heart surgery, where he endured a triple by-pass operation. Northeast Georgia Medical Center is over an hour from their home and family. The staff at the hospital say he is the “Miracle Man”, as he died twice in the ambulance, multiple times in the helicopter, and twice during his operation. 
He is a fighter! But he endured a traumatic event and his body suffered.
Garry will need to take some time to heal and participate in rehab. He has a long road ahead of him and many medical bills.
