Tonight we want to make you aware of the situation of our only canine baby in care . Yes , beautiful IVY ❤️ .

Many of you remember that IVY came to us after having a horrible, abusive and neglectful owner . She was very ill , exhausted , covered with infections of all sorts . She wouldn't live much longer if we had left her in that condition .

During the last four months her truly devoted foster mom France Lavigne and our wonderful veterinarian

Dre Robert at Eardley Veterinary Clinic Aylmer worked around the clock to bring this poor dog back to health . We treated her for parasites , vaccinated her , spayed her and she went through multiple Urinalysis procedures and a few rounds of antibiotics until the severe urinary tract infection was fully taken care of.

But even after doing everything doable with meds , IVY'S incontinence is persistent.

Even a " cocktail" of strong antibiotics and incontinence medication and two incontinence meds at the same time did close to nothing for her .

Most likely IVY'S condition is caused by a congenital abnormality she was born with . It's very possible that her kidneys don't connect the right way to her bladder and that's why the leak appears when she sleeps and it doesn't respond to meds ....

We believe that after 3+ years of unthinkable suffering IVY lived through ,she deserves a chance for a normal life . She is a survivor - against all the odds she pulled through during the freezing winter nights when she was sleeping in the snow on the icy ground, she pulled through the summer heat ,she made it through many litters of puppies and constant hunger .

To help IVY , we need your financial assistance. It certainly won't be easy and it won't happen fast .

The next step in IVY'S journey is an appointment and an ultrasound with an internal medicine specialist so he could diagnose what's wrong with her . Probably IVY is going to need a procedure called Cystoscopy also . It's a tiny camera that gets inserted to check her urinary system from within .

Through a referral, we booked an appointment in Montreal with Dr Javard ( internal specialist) on September 15th , 2025 .

It's hard to get an exact estimate before the appointment but what we've been quoted for the basics is around $ 5300 after tax .

The only way to make it doable , is asking for your timely help .
