Meimei is a 5-year-old Akita who was surrendered to Baibao Rescue and Adoption Society by her previous owner. While in foster care, she was diagnosed with Pyometra and required surgery. Unfortunately, shortly after the first surgery, a mass was found on her cervix, and further examination is needed to determine if it's a tumor, requiring a second surgery.

So far, the rescue has spent $7,022.17 on Meimei’s medical bills, and additional expenses are expected due to the upcoming surgery. Meimei is a gentle and loving girl who did not receive the proper care in her original home. I truly want to give her the second chance she deserves to live a happy, healthy life.
