Tragic accident led to disability.
Donation protected
Hi all, we're the McCool/Weider family, born and raised in Southern California.
In 2021 our lives changed forever. My husband Jammie, of 18 years, suffered a spinal cord injury from an accident at work that rendered him paralyzed. After a 6-hour major surgery on his cervical spine, and an additional 3 weeks in rehabilitation, he is left with permanent damage to the nerves in his arms, hands and legs. He regained some use of his hands and legs. Even so, the doctors deemed him 80% disabled. He will not be able to work again. I have done the best I can to provide during the last 2 years with working 3 jobs, and homeschooling our 11yr old son and 8yr old daughter. We've tried to keep life feeling as "normal" as possible for them during this ongoing struggle. This has been a test of strength, physically and emotionally, for all of us.. Without God this would'nt have been impossible. We are at the point where we have drained all of our resources. We are currently pursuing long term financial assistance, but that is a lengthy process and we have several bills that are very past due and need to be paid immediately..
The money donated will go toward the bills and for new/used tires on our car..
We appreciate your consideration, love and support..
May God bless each and every one of you the way he has blessed us.
