I know I’m desperate. Eight years ago I was not only losing my mom, but lovely princess Emmye. God blessed me with this little girl …Emmyee died and Mackenzyee was born on the same day October 7, 2016. Mackenzyee started with what I thought were allergies, but it turns out it is a heart issue. One vet gave her an antibiotic shot., and prednisone. Four days later I still felt uneasy because she wasn't doing well, and went to another vet for a second opinion. The vet said she needed a cardiac workup that would cost 2,300 to 3,200 which I do not have. At her size 3lbs, I realize surgery is not an option, but medications can get it hopefully under control. In order to save her life the first thing that needs to be done is ECG, x-rays of the heart, along with other testing. Without this and medication she is going to suffer and die I cannot handle that mentally. With testing and medication, she will be able to live hopefully a comfortable life and bring me a couple more years of joy.
