THE HUMAN BETRAYED HIM

His name is Ayan now, but before Ayan, he was Pasta.

And before Pasta, he was Sama.

Before that... Allah knows how many names, homes, and lives this poor soul has had.

I first rescued Sama in November 2022. He was a young, chubby, healthy, and very chatty boy. ❤️ I admitted him to the vet, where he stayed for around three months before finally finding what I believed was a good home.

Everything seemed perfect. He seemed happy and safe.

Then one day... the adopter blocked me.

I tried again and again to contact him, but there was no answer. I tried to convince myself that maybe they had left the country.

But Sama never left my mind.

Then fate brought him back to me.

A rescuer contacted me with two emergency cases. She took care of one kitten, and I took the other cat.

I didn't recognize him. How could I?

This poor cat was completely different from the healthy, chubby boy I had rescued years before. I never imagined that I would find my own rescued cat again, abandoned in Mussafah Industrial Area, suffering and broken.

Ayan had a broken pelvis, severely damaged teeth, and had lost sensation in his right paw.

We fought hard to save his paw, and thankfully, at first, we managed to keep it. But later, Ayan began biting his own paw because he could no longer feel it.

Despite continued treatment and bandage changes, his condition became worse.

AYAN MUST HAVE HIS SURGERY BY FRIDAY.

The damaged paw and wound are at serious risk of infection. If the infection spreads through his body, it could lead to sepsis and become life-threatening.

We cannot wait any longer.

I rescued him twice.

Twice, this innocent soul was failed by humans.

The first time, I believed I had found him a safe and loving home.

Years later, I found him again... abandoned, broken, and suffering.

Please don't let Ayan suffer anymore.
