I'm Louy, and this Sunday 23rd April I'm attempting my first ever marathon. What started as a mere 'ok I'll enter the ballot but I doubt I'll get a spot' ..... to wow I was successful. Then the training began, some days I loved it, others wanted to give up, but I kept going.

I've decided to help raise money for my kids local cricket club, Streatham & Marlborough Cricket Club (SMCC). Both my son and daughter play for SMCC which means my husband and I will be at the nets/ground during the week and weekends devoting our time to ensure our kids develop and enjoy their cricket.

Streatham and Marlborough Cricket Club is run almost exclusively by volunteers and provides regular cricket for 120 senior men, 50 senior women and a staggering 344 juniors. A bowling machine would be an invaluable resource that would allow them to maximise the development and enjoyment of everyone involved with cricket at the club, particularly the junior section - but we need your help to raise enough funds to buy one. https://streathammarlboroughcc.co.uk/
