Hi everyone! My name is Marie Tolarova, and I’m raising money for a cause that means a lot to me. Cleft Prevention International Foundation, Inc. does incredible work, and I’ve seen firsthand how much of an impact they make in the lives of others.

The purpose of Cleft Prevention International Foundation is to prevent cleft lip and palate anomalies – the second most common birth defects and the first and most serious anomalies of face and mouth that are affecting every year about 230,000 newborns through education and research.

Our mission is to prevent cleft lip and palate worldwide through education and research. Scientific evidence suggests that a significant number of occurrences of cleft lip and palate are preventable. If you are planning on having children, and you have a family member with a cleft, our research and educational materials may be able to help you.
