We are proud friends and colleagues of this beautiful family, and we are asking your help to support them.

The community is being asked to rally around the Davies family as they navigate an incredibly challenging period. Their son, Kaiden, was born with a severe heart condition (Hypoplastic right heart syndrome, Pulmonary atresia, and tricuspid stenosis) that has required drastic medical intervention throughout his young life. In the coming weeks, Kaiden will face open heart surgery. This surgery, while offering hope, is also a deeply frightening prospect for the family. The emotional burden is immense, and the financial strain is a significant added stressor. Ged, Kaiden's dad, is still struggling to find employment since relocating to the closed mining town in January. Christina will need to take unpaid leave from her job during the surgery period. We believe that by coming together, even with small donations, we can help reduce at least one of the worries this family is facing. Our goal is to help cover essential costs like lost wages, travel expenses for the surgery, and food during this critical time.
