Shannon's daughter has leukaemia and they need help.

Donation protected
This week, Shannon and Chris' youngest daughter Georgia was diagnosed with leukaemia.

AML is an aggressive cancer, and they anticipate a long hard road ahead. Shannon and Georgia will essentially be living at Sick Kids for the the next 5 or 6 months, where Georgia will undergo many rounds of chemotherapy. As you can imagine, their lives have been turned upside down.

Shannon will have to quit her job to be with her daughter, losing a big chunk of income. But the bills will keep coming as they struggle to weather this unexpected storm. They will also need many supplies to navigate with this rocky journey- supplies to outfit their home as well as for Georgia. I can't imagine the stress. It's our time to step up and help out this wonderful family.

Shannon is the best mother I know. She has always been my motherhood mentor- she's so insightful and supportive of her children. Her love for her girls is cosmic. She is also an incredibly loyal and generous and joyful friend, as I'm sure you already know. Bridget is Georgia's amazing older sister. And Chris, their dad, is the soft rock that completes this family.

Georgia is a ray of sunshine. She is now 17 years old, and she brightens every room she enters. She is a whip smart, kind, creative, gentle, beautiful, and loving girl.
