I never thought I’d be in this position, but my beloved cat is currently hospitalized and fighting through a serious life-threatening medical emergency.

Phoebe suddenly became very weak and unwell. We rushed her to the emergency vet, where she is now undergoing tests and treatment. The vets are trying to figure out what’s wrong, but right now we’re facing possible issues like severe anemia and other complications. She is in critical condition and needs urgent care. They have done multiple tests and still haven’t been able to figure out what’s wrong.

Phoebe means everything to us. She’s not just a pet, she’s family. We took her in when she was just a kitten in April of 2020. She helped me get through COVID and all the difficulties ever since then. She is genuinely the most loving cat you’ll ever meet. She’s asking for pets all the time and if you stop she’ll reach her paw forward to tap us. Seeing her like this has been heartbreaking and we are doing everything we can to give her the care she needs.

Unfortunately, the cost of emergency care, diagnostics, and hospitalization is adding up very quickly. We want to continue treatment and give her the best possible chance but we need help. The bills have already come to $30K but are likely to increase as they provide more treatment.
